This member watercolor exhibition showcases paintings using water-based media, demonstrating the medium's ability to create luminous, spontaneous, or complex art, often curated to reflect both historical techniques and modern artistic explorations.

The Photography Exhibition highlights the powerful role photography plays in contemporary visual culture... capturing moments, expressing ideas, and offering new ways of seeing the world. The photographic works will reflect the diversity, creativity, and technical skill that define today’s photographic landscape.

This annual exhibit showcases a variety of fiber arts: felting, quilting, knitting, crochet, embroidery, textiles, weaving, wearable art, mixed fiber arts. Fiber Arts have a long tradition not only of utility but of storytelling and personal expression. This exhibit celebrates the hard work and creativity of our UVAL member fiber artists.

Stripped of color yet rich with possibility, this all medium exhibition invites you into a world defined by contrast, nuance, and imagination. Working exclusively in black and white, the artists on view explore the expressive power of limitation... where the absence of color becomes a space for clarity, tension, and depth.

A dynamic collaborative exhibition that brings together the creative voices of alumni, current students, and faculty in a powerful celebration of artistic continuity. The show explores the idea of “roots” as foundation- heritage, learning, and shared experience- while “radiance” reflects growth, innovation, and the evolving expression of each artist’s journey.

This exhibition celebrates the rich tapestry of the Lone Star State, blending traditional Western heritage, native wildlife, nature, landscapes, festivals, motifs, traditions and beauty of our vibrant state. Everything is bigger and better in Texas!
