Board meetings are scheduled for the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 4 pm, with some exceptions. Call UVAL to verify schedule.
Working with the arts can be appealing and occasionally we receive inquiries about job openings. As an all-volunteer and non-profit organization, UVAL does not offer employment opportunities.
if you would like to tour the facility, meet some of the artists, or discover what UVAL has to offer, come by during Gallery hours or call for an appointment.

Nearly 50 butterflies are showcased in the City of Mission, both on public grounds and on private properties. UVAL initiated the project and continues to promote butterflies which have brought much attention to Mission and the Rio Grande Valley.
Select the type of butterfly desired--given a book from which to choose--or present a custom look on the butterfly such as the colors from a school with logo. The butterfly is made of metal and rests on sturdy fiberglass. A cement pad is provided. Average height with the base is generally between 5 1/2 to 6 feet.
For more information, contact Dennis Grover who is with UVAL at 402-533-3842; or leave a message with UVAL (956-591-0282) and Dennis Grover will be in contact with you.
